Method · how synastry is scored

How synastry
reads two people

This page explains where the score comes from after you enter birthdays, what each of the four dimensions is saying, and what it can help you discuss—and what it can't. It borrows common synastry language, but the rules are product-built—good for talking about a bond, not for betting a life on.

How it works

Five steps to your hands

You only need birthdays. Here's roughly what happens from the form to a report you can read.

01

Both birthdays

Nicknames, dates, relationship type. Birth time defaults to noon—still runs with one less field.

02

Sun sign placement

Date maps to one of twelve signs—a readable label and the starting point for the copy.

03

Match index

Weighted Sun / Venus / Mercury relationships. Same birthday pair → reproducible result.

04

Four dimensions

Emotion, communication, longevity, conflict—pull and friction split apart.

Four-dimension field

Open each dimension to see what high / low tends to imply—scores are clues, not verdicts.

Emotion
82

Sample score · emotional connection strength

Can you actually feel each other?

Emotional resonance is nonverbal sync: presence, whether care lands, whether silence feels safe. It isn't "more love"—it's whether your emotional waveforms share a frequency.

In synastry this often maps to Moon–Venus interaction imaginations—tone shifts by score band.

  • High easy to charge each other—and drain each other; boundaries need a separate talk.
  • Midneeds ritual and clear naming; silent chemistry alone won't carry it.
  • Lownot "no chemistry"—different emotional translators; learn their language.
Communication
61

Sample score · expression & understanding

How hard is it to say it plainly?

Communication ease measures bandwidth before conflict: can you name needs, take feedback, and discuss the bond with a shared vocabulary.

Plenty of pairs score fine overall and still die on "you know what I mean." This dimension calls that out.

  • Highgood for spelling rules out loud; watch "all talk, little follow-through."
  • Mid set a review rhythm—e.g. one no-judgment check-in a week.
  • Lowless debate on who's right; more confirming facts and feelings, stated separately.
Longevity
74

Sample score · sustainability

Can it become ordinary life?

Longevity potential is tempo fit: habits, value order, and what commitment means. Strong spark doesn't mean long distance covered.

We deliberately split "long game" from "honeymoon high" so a report isn't only butterflies.

  • Highgood for shared plans; don't let stability harden into boredom.
  • Mid needs external structure (ritual, travel, a joint project) for fuel.
  • Low better as a season, or accept deep without co-living.
Friction
55

Sample score · friction density (not purely negative)

Is fighting always bad?

Conflict index describes friction frequency and intensity potential. Mid conflict often means both people are present; too low can be stonewalling, too high a war of attrition.

Copy won't simply say "conflict bad"—it names typical scripts: escalate, retreat, reopen old files, mock.

  • Highset ceasefire rules before arguing who's right.
  • Mid conflict can become clarity—the key is repair speed.
  • Lowcheck for avoidance; "we never fight" can mean the connection already dropped.

Trust & limits

How to use this
without overreaching

Synastry is a doorway into discussion, not a verdict. Clear limits make the read steadier.

  • A

    Relationship brief, not fortune-telling

Use it to mirror how you interact—not to decide breakups, get-backs, or marriage.

  • B

    Birthday-only also means limited

Without birth time and place, precision is capped; same-day birthdays share a nearby frame.

  • C

    They can't see your inputs

The report generates on your side. Whether to share—and which slice—is yours.

  • D

Big stuff belongs in real life

Harm, coercion, or ongoing pain call for real conversation and professional help—not more score scrolling.

Limits

What this is / isn't

Naming the boundary is part of trust. Scores especially need a clear origin story.

This is

A relationship narrative tool—structured dimensions plus concrete copy—to help you discuss how you interact. Scoring borrows common synastry building blocks (Sun / Venus / Mercury, aspects), but weights and synthesis are product-built rules. Same birthday pair → reproducible result for compare-and-share.

This isn't

Professional astrology consulting, an astrologer-certified report, therapy, or a fate verdict. Not a unified industry scoring standard in astrology. No accuracy promise. Doesn't replace real talk or professional help. For entertainment and self-reflection.

About the score

The match index is a weighted blend of emotion / communication / longevity / conflict. Professional synastry usually explains structure; a single 0–100 "destiny total" is rarely an industry standard—we keep a total because it's readable and discussable. Don't treat it as an authoritative certification.
